Acreage tree work isn’t yard work scaled up. On 2, 5, 20, or 50+ acre properties, the questions are different: which trees should stay, which species are pulling the rest down with them, where’s the fire load, where’s the access route, and how does the work get scheduled so the property is usable during and after.

Selective Clearing

For projects where part of the property needs to be opened up, building pad clearing, driveway corridors, fence lines, pasture restoration, or fire-buffer zones, we clear:

Releases the trees worth keeping so they have room, light, and water to actually thrive
Removes co-dominant competition between adjacent trees that have been growing into each other
Reduces fire-load density in stands of cedar, juniper, and similar high-fuel species
Improves long-term forest health, fewer trees, healthier trees, more wind resilience

Project Planning for Acreage Work

Acreage pricing varies enormously by tree density, species, access, and whether equipment can get into the work zone. A 5-acre selective thinning runs differently from a 5-acre full clearing. Site walks are free, and we quote in writing with line-item scope.
